Financial Aid Cost : Defining “Personal” Cost for College Financing

Financial aid “Personal” cost of attendance item which is used to pay and include personal hygiene items, dental care, clothing, and other personal items can vary based on where  a you live, dependency status and/or support while attending college.

Your Financial Aid Department may create a variety of budgets based on some of the following criteria:

Dependent Students:

  • Where are you residing? At home, apartment on campus or off campus.
  • What are the personal cost in the region, state and city you are attending college?

Independent Students:

  • Where are you and your family may be residing? At home, apartment on campus or off campus.
  • How many family members do you have? hu
  • What are the personal cost in the region, state and city you are attending college?
